MY VERY FIRST RECEIVED POSTCARD!

Today I went to pick up my post and there it was, the very first post crossing postcard I received from China!

 

 



THIS IS MY VILLAGE

The second person to whom I wrote has received her letter also! Now I´m waiting for my letters/postcards to arrive, I´m so excited!

The next postcard I sent to a girl in Belarus wanted a postcard from the place I live, so I chose a nice one! This is Monchique, a beautiful village in the south of Portugal, I grew up and live here, I really enjoy living in the mountains and nature.

Hope she likes it!

 



MORE ON THERE WAY

Today the first person I have written to in Russia, received my letter! So that means I will be receiving something soon to!

I also have sent three more postcards to Taiwan, China and Ukrania.

The postcard to Ukrania is the one with the airplane saying "war is over" to encourage this person that the war situation in Kiev wont be forever.

POST CROSSING

The other day I was reading the dutch Flow magazine and read about post crossing. Post crossing is a fun way to get post from all over the world in your mail box. You create an account at postcrossing.com and get started!

 

What is post crossing?

Because of the internet Era we live in, we don´t get those fun postcards or lovely hand written letters so much anymore. With post crossing you get an adress from someone in the world and you send this person a personalized written letter, a fun handmade postcard, a little surprise package, a holiday postcard or whatever you want!

When that person receives your post, he or she puts an ID code at the post crossing site an then it´s your turn to get post from a random person in the world! You never know from whom you will receive something and that´s the fun of it!

 

I just got started and tomorrow I´m going to send my first letters/postcards. I´ll have to wait a while before I´ll receive my first letters/postcards and that´s the exciting part of it!

Here´s a postcard with pencilshavings glued on it. It is not ready yet, I want to cover the whole postcard.

Here I´m coloring the whole page and then divide it to make four different fun postcards.
